In a world full of condemnation, one man, Errol A. Grant, a disrespected newspaper columnist who specializes in paranormal stories, and who is struggling with his sexuality, experiences an apparition who mysteriously appears at the pulpit during a church service. She speaks to him about the true meaning of love and acceptance and that God loves us all, and then she disappears. While investigating mysterious sightings hovering around his small town (Vyctoria’s Point), Errol stumbles across an elderly woman who tells him of her long-lost niece (Evelyn), who used to speak of true love and acceptance, but was ousted by her family after she got caught up with drugs. There's a correlation.
The whirlwind begins, ending in Errol gaining respect, fame and notoriety by securing the elusive front page of the newspaper with his story about “The Black Angel” and her message of true love and acceptance, which becomes an international sensation. Drunk with fame, Errol begins to sell his soul by continuing to uncover this story, leaving a trail of death behind. The story unfolds to reveal shocking secrets, and a world full of drugs, sex, corruption, acceptance, and finally, redemption.
